Friends, we are just 38 days away from Ohio State kicking off the 2021 football season on Sept. 2 in the not-yet-frozen tundra of Minneapolis against the Minnesota Golden Gophers. Coming off of the utterly bizarre 2020 season, which saw cardboard cutouts populating stadiums, fake (sometimes extremely obviously) crowd noise being pumped into stadiums, no marching bands, cheerleaders, or fans in sight, and many more oddities, it now appears — for better or for worse — that college football will look more or less like the sport that we all know and love in just over five week’s time.
