Ryan Shazier Gets Ovation From Crowd at Cleveland Cavaliers Game

As he continues to make progress in his recovery from the spinal injury he suffered in December, former Ohio State and current Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier was back in Ohio on Sunday, attending the Cleveland Cavaliers' game against the San Antonio Spurs.

Shazier was shown on the video board during a break in the action at Quicken Loans Arena on Sunday, and drew an ovation from the crowd while "Hang On Sloopy" played in the background, as you can see in the video above posted by cleveland.com.

While Shazier still has a long road ahead in his recovery, currently rehabbing five times a week as he works to continue regaining function in his legs, he said earlier this week during an appearance on Steelers teammate Roosevelt Nix's podcast that he is still setting his sights on returning to play in the NFL.
