The Ohio State football team has occupied the top spot in the rankings since Week 2. After beating Texas in the season opener, they have been ranked number one every week since. Nothing they have done since then has given any reason why they shouldn't still be ranked at the top.
While the AP and Coaches Poll still have the Ohio State Buckeyes at number one, the College Football Playoff rankings come out for the first time on Tuesday. The Buckeyes would love nothing more than to be ranked first when those polls come out, too.
