Penn State defensive player to watch, linebacker Micah Parsons

Penn State sophomore linebacker Micah Parsons, despite growing up in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, almost went to Ohio State, named his dog Brutus, and remains good friends with Ohio State running back J.K. Dobbins and defensive end Chase Young.

In his senior season at Harrisburg high school, Parsons recorded 55 tackles, 10.5 sacks and 17.5 tackles for loss on defense and 1,239 rushing yards, 99 receiving yards, and 29 offensive touchdowns on offense. He was the state’s No. 1 prospect in his class and verbally committed to Penn State in February of 2016.
