Supposedly, during every off-season for the past few years, there were rumblings about Ohio State using the tight end position better. The season would come and go with the position being no more utilized than the prior year. However, in the class of 2018, Kevin Wilson and Ohio State landed one of the best tight ends in the country with Jeremy Ruckert. Fast forward to the 2019 season with Ryan Day as the head coach at Ohio State, he is hoping to feature Ruckert’s talents in this offense.
Featuring Ruckert is good for the offense, and it is also very necessary for recruiting purposes.
