It’s a good time to be an Ohio State quarterback, as following Saturday’s 52-3 win over Rutgers backup QB Tate Martell took home the first weekly Big Ten honor of his career as the B1G Freshman of the Week; an even bigger achievement when you consider that he only played about half of the game. Martell shared the honor with Indiana’s Stevie Scott.
In just his second career start, Dwayne Haskins had another impressive game for the Buckeyes, throwing for 233 yards and four touchdowns on 20-for-23 passing before giving way to Martell.
