Ohio State’s football schedule rated most difficult of unbeaten teams

Ohio State is probably not likely to be ranked No. 1 when the College Football Playoff rankings come out later tonight, that honor will most likely go to the LSU Tigers. The justification from the CFP committee will be that the Tiger’s have had the superior wins and more difficult schedule thus far. With wins over currently ranked teams No. 10 Florida and No. 12 Auburn, it’s hard to argue with that. Ohio State also has two wins against ranked opponents, but they are slightly lower ranked, No. 16 Wisconsin and No. 17 Cincinnati.

But going deeper into the numbers might paint a different picture.
