Ohio State's Donovan Munger's football career ends due to blood clots

Ohio State defensive lineman Donovan Munger's football career is over, due to pulmonary embolism. Urban Meyer told a crowd of gathered reporters who relayed the news afterwards. The 6'4 defensive lineman was diagnosed with a blood clot before the 2013 season, and has just not been able to shake the illness, bringing his career to an unfortunate, early ending.

Munger was a four-star prospect coming out of high school, and committed to the Buckeyes back on Dec. 9, 2012. He appeared in 11 games for the Buckeyes in their 2014 national championship season, accumulating five tackles and one tackle-for-loss, while seeing his most action early in the season against Kent State and Illinois.
