The Ohio State junior and newly minted captain was named to the Associated Press' Preseason All-American first team on Tuesday, adding to a long list of preseason honors that Young has collected.
Young has also been named as a first-team preseason All-American by ESPN, CBS Sports, The Athletic, Pro Football Focus and Sports Illustrated, among other media outlets, and made the preseason watch lists for the Bednarik Award and Bronko Nagurski Trophy, which both honor college football's best defensive players.
