Ohio State Wide Receiver Chris Olave Among 10 Finalists for Senior CLASS Award

Chris Olave is in the running to be named college football’s top senior.

The Ohio State wide receiver was named Thursday as one of 10 finalists for the Senior CLASS Award, which honors a senior with “notable achievements in four areas of excellence: community, classroom, character and competition.”

Olave, a team captain for the Buckeyes, is widely regarded as one of college football’s best wide receivers while he’s also viewed by his Ohio State coaches and teammates as one of the Buckeyes’ hardest workers and best leaders.

In the first eight games of his senior season for the Buckeyes, Olave has caught 35 passes for 562 yards and leads the Big Ten with nine touchdown receptions, leaving him just three more touchdown catches away from tying David Boston’s record for the most touchdown receptions in Ohio State history.
