Julian Sayin is racking up the awards for his exemplary performance at Wisconsin.
The Ohio State quarterback was named Tuesday as the best freshman in college football for Week 8, earning the Shaun Alexander Freshman Player of the Week Award. Sayin received the award after completing 36 of his 42 passing attempts for 393 yards and four touchdowns in the Buckeyes’ 34-0 win at Wisconsin.

Sayin, who’s eligible for freshman awards because he’s a redshirt freshman who played in just four games as a true freshman in 2024, earned the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week and Big Ten Freshman of the Week awards on Monday.
