Ohio State Linebacker Arvell Reese Named Chuck Bednarik National Defensive Player of the Week

Arvell Reese was already the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week. Now, he’s the Chuck Bednarik National Defensive Player of the Week.

Reese led the Buckeyes with 12 tackles in Ohio State’s 38-14 win over Penn State. He also lived in the Nittany Lions’ backfield, recording 2.5 tackles for loss and one sack.

Reese becomes the third Buckeye to earn a national player of the week award this season, joining defensive end Caden Curry and quarterback Julian Sayin.
