Ohio State is the Only Team in the College Football Playoff Era to a Reach New Year's Six Bowl Every Season

Ohio State's consistency is unmatched in the College Football Playoff Era.

The Buckeyes are now the only team in the country to reach a New Year's Six bowl game every season since the College Football Playoff began in 2014.

Ohio State now holds that claim alone after Alabama missed out on a New Year's Six bowl game for the first time in the College Football Playoff era this season, with the Tide heading to the Citrus Bowl to face Michigan.

In the six years of the College Football Playoff era, Ohio State has made the four-team field three times (2014, 2016 and 2019) and reached a New Year's Six game the other three seasons, playing in the Fiesta Bowl following the 2015 season, the Cotton Bowl following the 2017 season, and the Rose Bowl following the 2018 season.
