Ohio State Goaltender Kassidy Sauve Transfers To Defending National Champion Clarkson

After falling to the eventual national champions in last season's Frozen Four, former Ohio State women's hockey goaltender Kassidy Sauve has decided to join them herself.

The Clarkson University women's hockey team announced Thursday that Sauve, who earned second-team All-American honors and broke Ohio State's saves record in 2016-17 and allowed only 1.88 goals against average in 2017-18, is joining the Golden Knights as a graduate transfer.

Clarkson defeated Ohio State in last season's Frozen Four semifinals, 1-0, in a game in which Sauve made 33 saves before relinquish the contest's only goal in overtime.
