The Ohio State football team will be making a change at the quarterback position. Speaking today on his radio show, Ryan Day indicated that C.J. Stroud will take the week off to rest his injured shoulder. That leaves Kyle McCord and Jack Miller as the quarterbacks against Akron.
This is some big news. McCord has been working with the backups, so it stands to reason that he will be the one who starts on Saturday. He now has a chance to seize the starting job if he lights the world on fire against Akron on Saturday night in the Shoe.
