Urban Meyer stepped in front of the attendees at the one-day Urban Meyer-Dean Hood football camp near his hometown of Ashtabula, Ohio, on Wednesday and gave them a taste of what it might be like in one of his Ohio State team meetings.
While fans rejoiced when the Buckeyes won the 2014 national title, he spoke of the depths at which the Buckeyes found themselves earlier that season. They had lost their “best player” in quarterback Braxton Miller to a shoulder injury in preseason, then had “lost three out of four games” counting the two postseason losses at the end of the 2013 season and the loss to Virginia Tech in game two last year.
