On Saturday the Ohio State football team fell in the final moments to the Clemson Tigers in the Fiesta Bowl. This was not supposed to happen.
Yes, the Tigers are the undefeated reigning national champions. Yes, they have a future top NFL Draft pick at quarterback in Trevor Lawrence and several other top NFL prospects all over the field, but this was supposed to be Ohio State’s best team ever.
Not only had they played excellent all year, but the Buckeyes also had all-time greats all over the field.
Justin Fields might be the best quarterback to ever play for Ohio State and he had a historic year for the Buckeyes.
