The Ohio State football program has emphasized adding depth up front on both the offensive and defensive line on the recruiting trail. After a couple of classes without adding a lot of linemen, the 2026 recruiting already sports a ton of players on the line of scrimmage.
Now, the Ohio State Buckeyes are using the same philosophy for the 2027 recruiting class. Tyler Bowen has been very busy on the recruiting trail in his first season as the Buckeyes' offensive line coach. In the 2026 class, Ohio State already has five offensive linemen.
For the 2027 class, Bowen is already looking at adding some in-state kids who have massive upsides on the offensive line.
