Doug Donley played receiver for both Woody Hayes and Earle Bruce, bridging the canyon of difference between 3 yards and a cloud of dust and a more modern version of the game. The Cambridge native went on to play five seasons in the NFL with the Dallas Cowboys and Chicago Bears.
