The Ohio State football program decided to make some controversial changes to the gameday experience. Ross Bjork announced them prior to the Week 1 showdown with the Longhorns. They weren't all bad, but they certainly weren't all good, either.
The Caamp song that was played heading into the second quarter didn't get the crowd juiced at all. Having the fans earn Buckeyes was hokey, but ultimately harmless. Not having the band play Hang on Sloopy before the fourth quarter was awful, especially when they tried to have them play it after Texas was mounting a potential game-tying drive.
