The Ohio State football team has played on a Thursday night and Monday night before, one against Indiana in 2017 and one against Virginia Tech in 2015, but the last time the Buckeyes played on a Friday was in 1959 when they played the No. 11 USC Trojans in which they lost 17-0.
This time, the Buckeyes will face a Northwestern team that some said has been a disappointment. They will go into Friday’s game with hopes of proving their haters wrong though, in a rematch of last year’s Big Ten Championship Game in which the Buckeyes won 45-24.
