Jantzen Dunn, a four-star athlete who is being recruited to Ohio State as a defensive back, gave his verbal commitment to the Buckeyes on Tuesday afternoon. Dunn held offers from Alabama, Kentucky and Baylor among many others.
In a weird side note to Dunn’s recruitment, he actually committed to the Oklahoma Sooners program last weekend but quickly back tracked after Ohio State coaches put the full court press on for his services, via Lettermen Row.
“According to Lettermen Row sources, the fact that Ohio State wasn’t pushing for a commitment may have led Dunn and his family to believe that maybe it wasn’t sold on him entirely.
