Ohio State football | Meyer mum on possible quarterback change

If coach Urban Meyer has decided to make a change at Ohio State’s starting quarterback, he chose to keep it to himself during his weekly media conference today.

Cardale Jones has been the starter the first seven games for the undefeated and top-ranked Buckeyes. The past two games, J.T. Barrett -- the starter a year ago before suffering a broken ankle against Michigan -- was the designated red-zone quarterback. He wound up being the full-time QB by late in the third quarter on Saturday night, when the Buckeyes pulled away from Penn State for a 38-10 victory.

“We had a night game” and had several recruits in town for the win over Penn State, Meyer said.
