Ohio State Football: K’Vaughan Pope may have quit team at halftime

The Ohio State football team had a 35-7 halftime lead. They looked a lot better after a poor start to the game that led to Akron taking a 7-0 lead. Then the Buckeyes scored 35 straight points. That wasn’t enough for one Buckeye who was not happy with the lack of playing time he’s been getting.

K’Vaughan Pope, a senior linebacker, created a scene on the sideline after being waved off the field. It looked like he was going on the field for a play, and then Teradja Mitchell waved him off for a substitution. Now it looks like he’s done with this team.
