Ohio State will face Tulsa at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in Ohio Stadium. The meeting will be the first between the Buckeyes and Golden Hurricane. Ohio State will travel to Oklahoma next week, making this the first time Ohio State has faced two same-state, nonconference foes from outside of Ohio since Jim Tressel’s first season as head coach in 2001. That year, the Buckeyes lost at UCLA 13-6 and triumphed at home over San Diego State 27-12.
