The Ohio State football team has not had Carnell Tate for the last three games they have played. Against Purdue, UCLA, and Rutgers, Tate sat on the sidelines. After going through warm-ups against the Boilermakers, he decided not to go after feeling something.
While Ryan Day refuses to fully disclose exactly what the injury is, it is not serious. Tate probably could have played in each of the last two games. However, it's clear that Tate wanted to get himself to 100 percent for The Game. He seems to be closer to that at this point.
