The Ohio State football team started fall camp last Thursday at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center. One former top safety recruit has switched positions to linebacker over the summer. Kourt Williams, a former four-star recruit from St. John Bosco High School in California is now playing linebacker for Jim Knowles and James Laurenitis.
This will be Williams’ fourth season in the program after having three injury-riddled seasons trying to get on the field as a safety. He was once upon a time the next up-and-coming player in the safeties room, but injuries have derailed a once-promising career. Williams had an ACL tear as a freshman followed by two torn labrums in both shoulders.
