Ohio State Football: Early spring battle primer, 2 things to watch for

I’ll leave the impending quarterback competition on the Ohio State football team to the side until Justin Fields achieves eligibility. I also think that Brian Hartline and Larry Johnson rotate their units so much that the competition is less about starting and more about creating a strong two-deep at every spot.

All three starters return.

Ryan Day knows this unit must improve substantially for the 2019 team to have success. That’s why he let Bill Davis go and hired Al Washington away from Michigan.
