The Ohio State football team has reached the start of the put-one-foot-in-front-of-the-other phase of preseason camp, and coach Urban Meyer is braced for it.
“We’ve got a lot of work to do,” he said today at the team’s annual media day.
It was the first full day off the practice field that the team has had since such work started on Aug. 10. The grind part of the experience begins Monday, the first of what will be three days of two-a-day practices (including Wednesday and Friday) over the next six with single practices on the days in between, capped by a scrimmage on Saturday.
