Ohio State Football: Buckeyes need linebackers to play better in 2018

Last season, Ohio State did not have a linebacker earn All-Big Ten. Given their play, that is not shocking. Given the program’s history in producing linebackers, it is unfathomable.

For this defense to become championship worthy, getting better production from the linebackers is a must.

Bill Davis has the task of replacing Jerome Baker and Chris Worley. He really needs to find three starters.

Tuf Borland, Dante Booker and Malik Harrison all started in games last year and Baron Browning and Pete Werner played sparingly as true freshmen. Still, this unit underperformed compared to expectations and that means no spot is locked down yet.
