Any doubts as to whether this year’s Ohio State football team were a serious contender to make the College Football Playoff were erased Saturday. The Buckeyes went into Lincoln and dominated the Nebraska Cornhuskers 48-7.
As a result of the big win on the road, Ohio State is finally ranked No. 4 in the Week 6 AP Poll. It’s about time.
After dominating wins the first four games the voters in the AP Poll still had the Buckeyes No. 5. Then they demolished the Cornhuskers on their home field in the featured game of the week, and at night.
