San Francisco 49er defensive end and former defensive end for the Ohio State football team Nick Bosa was this year’s Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Year and the PFWA Rookie of the Year after having a stellar first year in the NFL. In 16 regular season games Bosa had 47 tackles and nine sacks. He also had four sacks in the playoffs.
It really was a magical year for the former Buckeye as he helped lead the 49ers to the Super Bowl, but could Ohio State have another former player follow in Bosa’s footsteps and win next year’s rookie of the year awards?
