The 2002 linebacking corps was a talented group, with all three starters and two backups going on to have NFL careers. They also had a knack for coming up with the big play when it was needed the most. From the crucial interception by Matt Wilhelm in a tight game against Northwestern, to the pressure Cie Grant put on Miami quarterback Ken Dorsey forcing an errant throw that sealed the National Championship (see video at the break), the linebackers came through when they had to.
