Bearcats Head Coach Luke Fickell returns to The Shoe. Fickell started 50 consecutive games at nose guard for the Buckeyes from 1993-1996. He spent 14 seasons of his coaching career on the Ohio State sidelines before being named head coach of the Cincinnati Bearcats in 2017.
Fickell led Cincinnati to a 11-2 record with a victory against Virginia Tech in the Military Bowl. Capturing UC’s third 11-win season in UC history, Fickell was named AAC Coach of the Year.
The Bearcats will enter the Horseshoe on Saturday in hopes of capturing a victory in Columbus for the first time in the series history.
