I doubt many have a problem with LSU, Ohio State and Clemson ranked in the top three in this week’s AP Poll, and possibly not Georgia and Alabama rounding out the top five. But then things get interesting, especially with a two-loss SEC team ranked ahead of 10-1 Power 5 teams.
Why are the 9-2 Florida Gators ranked No. 8 ahead of the Minnesota Gophers (9) and the Baylor Bears (11)? Florida is ranked behind one 10-1 team from the Big 12 (Oklahoma) and one from the Pac 12 (Utah) but not these two teams?
Even 9-2 Michigan (10) is ahead of Baylor.
