There is no question Justin Fields is expected to be a high draft pick next year because he and Trevor Lawrence are the two best quarterbacks in the country. Both will be front-runners for the Heisman Trophy next season.
In Mel Kiper’s 2021 NFL draft rankings, Kiper has Fields as the 3rd overall prospect behind Lawrence at #1 and Oregon offensive tackle Penei Sewell at #2.
As discussed in my article regarding strength of schedules for Ohio State and Clemson, it will be interesting to see how the Fields versus Lawrence battle heats up throughout the season.
