Ohio State earns the No. 2 seed in the CFP

Ohio State is the No. 2 seed in the College Football Playoff.

The CFP committee selected Ohio State as the No. 2 seed behind undefeated Indiana, which just beat the Buckeyes 13-10 in the Big Ten Championship Game. Ohio State will face the winner of Texas A&M vs. Miami in the CFP quarterfinals.

Indiana, Ohio State, Georgia and Texas Tech are the top-four seeds and earn first-round byes. Oregon, Ole Miss, Texas A&M and Oklahoma will host first-round games as the four highest-ranked at-large teams. Alabama, Miami, Tulane and James Madison round out the 12-team field.
