Ohio State Cornerback Commit Shaun Wade Named the Lockheed Martin Defensive Back of the Year

Ohio State five-star cornerback commit Shaun Wade has been named the Lockheed Martin Defensive Back of the Year.

He beat out finalists Bubba Bolden, Darnay Holmes, Richard LeCounte III and Deommodore Lenoir for the award, which is given annually to the defensive back who performs above and beyond their competition.

The 6-foot-1, 177-pound Wade recorded 63 tackles and seven interceptions this season to help Jacksonville, Florida, Trinity Christian to its fourth-consecutive state championship.
