Ohio State Commit Tate Martell Named USA TODAY's Offensive Player of the Year

USA TODAY Sports has named Ohio State five-star quarterback commit Tate Martell the American Family Insurance All-USA Offensive Player of the Year. Future teammate Shaun Wade was named defensive player of the year on Wednesday.

The 5-foot-11, 203-pound Martell threw for 2,363 yards and 41 touchdowns and rushed for 1,256 yards and 21 touchdowns while leading Las Vegas, Nevada, Bishop Gorman to its eighth consecutive state title and a third-straight mythical national championship.
