Ohio State Basketball: Buckeyes Must Limit Open 3 Point Shots

Ohio State will have to defend against Michigan the way they did against Rutgers if they expect to defeat the Wolverines. The Buckeyes limited the Scarlet Knights from getting as many wide open three point attempts as they allowed in their games against Wisconsin and Northwestern.

The three point shot has been Michigan’s bread and butter since coach John Beilein arrived. This season they are shooting 45 percent of their shots from behind the arc, and making them at a 40 percent clip.

The Wolverines are putting up a lot of points with this style of play.
