Ohio State Basketball: Buckeyes Beat Penn State, Stay Alive

Despite an up and down performance of defense, Ohio State was able to get the stops down the stretch to put away a feisty Penn State team, 79-75. They advance to take on the third seeded Michigan State Spartans tomorrow evening in the quarterfinals.

The Buckeyes found themselves down heading into the break after the Nittany Lions hit 7 three pointers, many of them uncontested. They found themselves down by 10 points when Donovan Jack hit a three pointer with just over 4 minutes left in the first half. Jack found himself open when Daniel Giddens and JaQuan Lyle failed to switch on defense.
