Ohio St. lands ex-Texas A&M QB commit Martell

ESPN 300 quarterback Tate Martell, the No. 3 dual-threat quarterback in the 2017 class, has committed to Ohio State. The commitment gives the Buckeyes 11 ESPN 300 commitments in the class, one ahead of Alabama for the most ESPN 300 commitments in the country.

Martell has taken a winding path to get to this commitment, as he started out as a Washington pledge, eventually flipped to Texas A&M and then decommitted from the Aggies on May 4.

His decommitment caused a stir among college football fans as Texas A&M wide receivers coach Aaron Moorehead tweeted, "I feel sorry for ppl who never understand loyalty.
