It was quite the Saturday for people named Caden (or Kayden).
Ohio State’s defense held Washington out of the end zone during its 24-6 victory over the Huskies on Saturday, largely thanks to the efforts of defensive linemen Caden Curry and Kayden McDonald. Curry tied the Ohio State single-game record with five tackles for loss, while adding a trio of sacks and 11 tackles, and McDonald added seven tackles — three for loss — and two sacks in the win.
Despite a slow start offensively, quarterback Julian Sayin settled in for a solid performance in his first start away from the comforts of Ohio Stadium.
