Former Ohio State cornerback Gareon Conley, a previously projected first-round pick in Thursday night's NFL Draft, stands accused of raping a woman in a downtown Cleveland hotel on April 9.
Though Cleveland police concede Conley is a suspect, they have yet to charge him anything connected to the alleged incident. Conley's lawyer calls the charges "ludicrous and ridiculous."
Former Silver Bullet teammate Marshon Lattimore, himself a projected top draft pick, defended Conley during an NFL Play 60 event at the Shriners Hospitals for Children on Wednesday afternoon.

“Anybody who is getting accused of something is not going to be OK,” Lattimore told reporters Wednesday morning at a Play 60 event at the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
