It was a big week for Malaki Branham.
The first-year Buckeye earned Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors Monday after averaging 23.7 points per game in three contests against Indiana, Illinois and Maryland this past week. The Buckeyes went 2-1, losing only to Maryland on the road on Sunday, but Branham continues to make waves with his stellar play as just a freshman at Ohio State.
Branham helped power Ohio State to an overtime win over Indiana last Monday that saw him rack up 27 points, and on Thursday, Branham scored 31 against Illinois on 9-for-13 shooting.
