Las Vegas Raiders Fire Chip Kelly After 11 Games As Offensive Coordinator

Chip Kelly’s tenure as the Las Vegas Raiders’ offensive coordinator is already over.

The former Ohio State offensive coordinator, who left the Buckeyes for the Raiders in February, has been fired by the Raiders after just 11 games.

Kelly helped lead the Buckeyes to a national championship last season in his lone year as Ohio State’s offensive coordinator before leaving Columbus for Las Vegas.

The Raiders made Kelly the highest-paid coordinator in the NFL, paying him $6 million per year, three times as much as he made as Ohio State’s offensive coordinator in 2024. But he didn’t even make it through one full season in his new job.
