J.T. Barrett Named Davey O'Brien Award Finalist

The Davey O'Brien Foundation announced Monday the finalists for the O'Brien National Quarterback Award, and Ohio State quarterback J.T. Barrett made the cut.

Barrett has 2,698 yards passing and 32 touchdowns thus far in 2017, with 605 yards and 8 touchdowns on the ground. He is second nationally in points responsible for (242) and points responsible per game (22.4).

Oklahoma's Baker Mayfield and Oklahoma State's Mason Rudolph join Barrett in the final field. A Buckeye hasn't won the O'Brien since Troy Smith in 2006.

The winner will be announced at ESPN's College Football Awards Ceremony on Dec.
