Fifth-year senior quarterback J.T. Barrett passed former quarterback Art Schlichter in the first quarter Thursday night against Indiana to become Ohio State's total offensive yardage record holder.

Schlichter, who last played for Ohio State in 1981, left Columbus with 8,850 yards.
