Thus far, Ohio State Buckeyes receiver Jeremiah Smith has been a Heisman candidate this season, judging by the eye test. His stats haven't borne that out yet, though, in Power 4 wins against the Minnesota Golden Gophers, Washington Huskies, and Texas Longhorns.
Cleveland.com's Stefan Krajisnik feels that will change soon. Krajisnik ranked Smith No. 2 on his Heisman rankings and predicted a Heisman moment within the next month and a half against the Illinois Fighting Illini, Penn State Nittany Lions, and/or TTUN.
