Ohio State may only have two linebackers on the field at most times, but James Laurinaitis says he has three starting linebackers for the 2025 season.
Arvell Reese and Payton Pierce have both earned the right to be starters alongside Sonny Styles, Laurinaitis says, and he’s treating them all like starters as such.
“Whether we're three backers or two backers, I think they're all just starters and they're pushing each other in that way,” Laurinaitis said Wednesday.
